Whole Grains

These are very high in fiber, which is one of the best nutrients to detoxify your digestive system.  Increasing this substance is usually recommended for people whose bodies have trouble eliminating waste.  Fiber also may help remove build-ups of cholesterol in the blood system. 

Whole Fruit

In addition to being high in fiber, whole fruit is also full of nutrients. Fruit that contains citric acid are good at giving your body vital nutrients that can keep the body functioning efficiently.  Try eating oranges or mixing lemon or lime juice into a glass of water.

Leafy Greens

Foods such as romaine lettuce, parsley, and spinach are some of the best foods to detox your body.  The fiber in these foods help to clear the digestive system, while the foliate in these foods may help to break down neurotoxins.  Leafy greens are also packed with a lot of other vitamins that will strengthen your immune system.
